Olmamıs mı? is a devised performance dealing with the question of how the world we grow up in shapes our present moment.

Five performers who grew up in the troublesome years of glamour, change and conflict in Turkish society, the 1990s, attempt to reveal who they are. Creating a black comedic collage, Olmamış mı? invites the audiences to rethink Turkey’s recent past through the performers’ personal anecdotes, objects, texts, images and sounds pertaining to the cultural environment of 1990s’ Turkey.
